Being an active member of the competent international vocational organisations, the Hungarian Baker Association has a vivid international system of relationships.

The previous president of the Hungarian Baker Association, Boldizsár Ilonka is also the Vice-President of UIB, the International Union of Bakers and Bakers-Confectioners and the chairman of its organisation commission. Beyond representing interests the International Union promotes flow of information, vocational exchange programs, the organisation of global and international events and also provides a forum for presenting scientific findings, new marketing approaches, trends and inventory in baking.

The ambassador of Hungarian bakers, as well as the member of the European Union of Bakers (CEBP) Boldizsár Ilonka also represents the country’s interests and utilizes the experiences of other bakery associations to assist the Hungarian baking industry.

It is his strong belief that a bottom-up organisational approach (baker - national baker association - international union) can bring actual results, through which the interests of individual bakers can be fulfilled.
